We have lost a great artist

I found out about Chris’s passing a few days ago through Dianne Moore. I was devastated, I cried! I found Chris to be such a gentle giant of a man, a man who had a command and understanding of a body of knowledge that you know you are only picking up the broad brush strokes of. Chris was an artist. He would paint the fine details and create a subtle hue within those broad brush strokes.
We have lost an artist, a loss that is as significant as any great artistic loss; Picasso, Rembrandt. Though we can not reproduce the original we can hold true to the genius behind it, and like all great art, it is timeless and therefore Chris’s contribution to us all is timeless too, every brush stroke of it. Bye Chris x
